The entry deadline for the April 6 Downtown Tyler ArtWalk is Friday, March 8. The upcoming quarterly ArtWalk is set for Saturday, April 6, 4-8 p.m., throughout the downtown area.
Those interested in applying to participate should go to www.DowntownTylerArts.com. At the bottom of the home page is an ArtWalk logo and link to application forms. Any artist, musician or venue that would like to participate in the event must fill out the appropriate forms and turn it in to the Gallery Main Street office at 110 W. Erwin St. ArtWalk is a quarterly event that features fine art, art demonstrations, music, dance, interactive arts projects, poetry and more for the enjoyment of the public. Various downtown businesses open their doors to artists, and arts booths are also sprinkled throughout the sidewalks and T.B. Butler Plaza area. “ArtWalk is an extremely popular event, both with artists and the public,” said City of Tyler Main
Street Department Leader Beverly Abell. Main Street, along with the volunteers of Heart of Tyler and price the Downtown Tyler Arts Coalition, organizes the project.
