Bring your family and enjoy an enchanted evening of celebrating Christmas at 6 p.m., Friday, December 5th, during the 11th Annual Christmas in the Park at The Children’s Park, located on the corner of South Broadway and East Dobbs in Tyler.
It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!”…Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! “Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “Doesn’t come from the store. Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more!” –Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Our special event will include Christmas carols, storytelling around a beautifully decorated tree, signature snowman soup, s’mores and the opportunity for children to make a special craft. “Come join us for some heart-warming music, magical sounds, beautiful lights, and the laughter and smiles of children roasting marshmallows over an open fire,” invites Jennifer Carson, Executive Director of The Children’s Park. “Family moments like this are precious and make great traditions. We hope to see you there!” This celebration is open to the public
