Longview Regional Medical Center (LRMC) held its formal Reveal Ceremony on Tuesday, September 3. Interested parties from all walks toured the hospital’s newly opened expanded areas and took in LRMC’s unconditional dedication both to providing the highest quality care and keeping it close to those who need it.

The many-million dollar expansion brings with it the assurance that the Longview area’s residents and east Texans can look forward to a future with healthcare second to none.

The development has created a 230-bed facility with all acute care private rooms, a brand-new three-story vertical tower and vertical expansion of existing towers, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a new third floor of expanded Women’s Services. Also, a new, 24-bed Intensive Care Unit has opened on the fourth floor. The reveal tour assured the public was made aware of LRMC’s commitment to constantly moving forward in its quest to be a top example of a great place for employees to work, physicians to ply their ancient, vital craft, and for their patients to heal.
