Gregg County Master Gardeners, Learn at Lunch program, is slated for Wednesday, Sept.ember 14.
Ken Kunkel will present a program on Composting at the Gregg County Extension Office, 405 E. Marshall Ave., Longview from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.  This program is the first of a two-part series, with October’s topic being vermiculture (composting with worms).
Mr. Kunkel is a master gardener in both Bowie County, Texas and Miller County, Arkansas.  He has been a Master Composter since 1998 and has taught composting  for many years.  In addition, he teaches landscaping and other gardening-related topics through community education classes at Texarkana College.
