LeTourneau University will host a two-day “LeadWorship” workshop led by established songwriter and worship leader Paul Baloche.
The workshop will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, at the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave. in Longview.
The goal of the seminar is to encourage and equip worship teams by deepening their spiritual lives and increasing their passion for leadership in their local churches.
The workshop will begin with “An Evening of Worship” concert at 7 p.m. Friday night by Paul Baloche and special guest Jared Anderson. Saturday will be an all-day worship intensive workshop, filled with practical workshops for church worship teams, with the first session beginning at 9 a.m. and last session ending at 4 p.m.  Registration for groups of four or more is $49 per person, and individual registration is $59. Registration is open at www.leadworship.com.  Late registration on Saturday will begin at 8:30 a.m. if the event is not sold out. Participants are encouraged to bring their guitars, if they choose.
The public is invited to the Friday night concert. Tickets for the Friday night concert are $10 plus applicable fees and can be purchased at www.itickets.com.
Baloche has been serving as a the Worship Pastor at Community Christian Fellowship in Garden Valley, Texas, for over 20 years in addition to his ongoing role as songwriter and teacher. His Dove Award-winning career includes popular worship songs such as “Above All,” “Open the Eyes of My Heart” and “Hosanna.”
