The second annual Mickey Melton Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Monday, May 21st, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Wood Hollow Golf Club in Longview. This 2-person scramble is in memory of the late Mickey Melton and benefits three non-profit organizations serving East Texas youth: Gilmont Camp and Conference Center in Gilmer; The Martin House Children’s Advocacy Center of Gregg and Harrison Counties; and the youth group of Alpine Presbyterian Church.

The $80 per player registration fee includes golf, cart, on-course drinks and snacks, fajita dinner following golf, and entry into longest drive and closest-to-the-hole contests. Cash awards will be given in each flight and all golfers are eligible to win a deluxe gas grill from Martin LP Gas and other door prizes. Sisk Buick of Longview will donate a new car to the first player hitting a hole-in-one.

Hole sponsorships are available at $250 per hole and all donations are tax deductible to the extent the IRS allows.
