The University of Texas at Tyler School of Performing Arts will present performances of “A Fairy Tale Production” featuring musical scenes from classic fairy tales in the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 31 and 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 3. Tickets are $2 each, and a special group rate for schools is available. Doors will open one hour prior to each performance, and seating will begin 30 minutes prior. Fairy tales highlighted are Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Aladdin. The University of Texas at Tyler student performers are Jasmine Gullett of Dallas, Atteona Ware of DeSoto, Blair Carter of Houston, Brooke Cottrell of Kilgore, Madisyn Bowden of Palestine, Taylor McNatt of Texarkana, Alexis Leyva of Texas City and Hannah Hinrichsen, Juliana Statile, Myranda Feagin and Nicholas Sheffield, all of Tyler.

“The show is fanciful and fast-paced, lasting about an hour,” Ogburn said. “Let us whisk you away to a land of castles, princesses and magic carpets!”
